ENGLISH CLASSES

The Refugee Resettlement Office offers free English classes for clients who have been in the country for less than five years, as well as those referred by DSHS. We have two regular classes that meet Monday - Thursday. The 10 am - 12:30 pm class is for beginners (levels 1-2) and a 1 - 3:30 pm class for intermediate (levels 3-6). These classes focus on four major ESL needs: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

ESL for Newly Arrived Refugees:

Basic vocabulary, ABCs, and culture acclimation

 

Workplace ESL Classes:

Additionally, we provide on-site English classes with select King County employers.
