The Refugee Resettlement Office is a non-profit agency which provides immediate shelter, food and clothing to hundreds of refugees each year when they first arrive in the Seattle area. Our clients come from countries throughout the world, fleeing war, political oppresion and religious persecution. We assist in cultural adjustment, language, and the basics of day-to-day living. Our employment program helps many individuals obtain living-wage jobs and move promptly off the welfare rolls. We annually place an average of 300 people in new jobs. While affiliated with the Diocese of Olympia, we do not discriminate in any way regarding the provisions of services. Our volunteers, staff and contributors - like those to whom we provide services - come from diverse religious, ethnic and national backgrounds.

Household Items Donations
Refugee Resettlement Office does not ask for fees for most of the servies we provide.
Refugee Resettlement Office depends on the generosity of individuals in the community, like you, to provide items for people in need and much less fortunate than most folks.
We accept most usable household items . Some of the most requested items are furniture, such as beds, tables and couches.

ESL Student Sponsorship
Due to insufficient funding and strict eligibility guidelines, every month we are forced to turn away many eager to learn students. If you wish to sponsor an ESL student or donate school supplies such as notebooks and pencils, please contact Mag Ruby at 206.323.3152 Ext 103.
